Today was my last clinical!!! I took off my uniform for the last time tonight. I was blessed to have a super cool clinical instructor who not only left me out 4 hours early so I could see my children's choir concert...but she also left the whole clinical group out early as well.
My clinical experiences have been many and varied... I will write more about them later... I 've learned a lot and am grateful for the experiences I have had.
Well, what is it they say? With every end there is a beginning? With my classes and clinicals over, and with only 2 finals remaining, I re-enrolled today in the RN to BS program. I will start working towards my bachelor's degree in the fall while working full time in L & D as a RN. I have a handful of classes left (about 6) to complete the BSN...And, my plan is to take it slow...one class at a time....while gaining hands on experience on the job.
I'm signing off until Wednesday - after my finals are over because I'm committed to studying as much as possible and to go out with a bang with these finals. So, I will check in with you after my tests next week!!

Yes, I got the text... You seem more excited than I do... I don't think it has hit me yet... I'm still in the study or die mode...
