Since I've made my decision to go on to graduate school, I've been accumulating the necessary items to send in with my application....and finally, I have everything I need to send in. So, my goal for today and tomorrow is to Put everything together and Mail My Application!!
What all goes into a graduate school application:
- A Completed 12 page application packet
- Copy of my RN license
- Copy of my resume'
- Picture of myself - ACK!!! This has proved difficult to find one I want to send along...
- Three professional references - I am sending 4 for good measure...
- Official transcript from college
- Check for $100
- Answers to the following two prompts:
1- A statement about my desire to become a CNM including personal information about myself and my professional goals as a CNM.
2- A statement describing how I intend to integrate graduate school and its rigorous demands and time commitment into my current family, work and life situation.
Then, place all of this and your life goals and heart's desire into an envelope, stamp it and send it off. Then, Wait.
